Fruits and biscuits were distributed to the patients in Nepa Hospital on the occasion of International Yoga Day.

Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre at Nepa Hospital, Nepanagar.

Under the project “Muskan” of state government, CMD Nepa Limited Cmde Saurav Deb and District collector IAS Pravin Singh, inaugurated the “Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre” (NRC) at Nepa Limited main Hospital Nepanagar on 13.06.2022. On this occasion, SDM IAS Smt. Jyoti Sharma was also present in the program.

Under this program 35 malnourished children are admitted and will be taken care.

The following facilities are being provided free of cast by Nepa Limited for the Nutrition Rehabilitation center :-

• 1. Mattresses, pillows and bed sheets were provided with 35 beds.
• 2. Services of 4 doctors and 1 staff nurse are being provided by the Company.
• 3. Arrangement of coolers, fans, ROs drinking water is also being made available.
• 4. Apart from the above, whatever other facilities are required, the Company will provide it free of cost.

HOSPITAL

The Company has a well equipped 50 bedded Hospital. There is no other health Institution in this area. The hospital provides routine and emergency medical services to the Nepa Employees and their families and to the population of Nepanagar and about 50 surrounding villages. Every year approximately 1.33 lakh patients are being treated in Out Patient Department and about 2600 patients are being treated in Indoor side. Hospital is equipped with OT, Pathology Lab,ICCU, X-Ray and Maternity room.

TOWNSHIP

The mill area is covered in 166.5 acres of land and township 1033.5 acres totalling 1200 acres of land. There is a well-developed township in Nepa, which is equipped with all the facilities. The Company has 2088 residential quarters in the township. The township is surrounded by about 50 small villages which are mainly dependent on Nepa.

WATER SUPPLY

Nepa Limited has been supplying drinking water to the employees as well as inhabitants of Nepanagar. Water works department of Nepa limited manages the supply of water. Nepa Limited has made its own infrastructure and resources like Pump, laying of Pipe Lines, Clarification of plant/Treatment of plant, water reservoir etc. At Present distribution of water to township is being by Nager Palika parishad Nepanagar.

LIGHTING

Nepa Ltd. has made proper lighting infrastructure in the town ship and public places/Public Buildings/Street lighting. Besides this initially infrastructure was also laid down by Nepa Limited like wire, poles, fittings, cabling etc.
